Hi, I'm new to this. I've joined because I am currently experiencing my first serious Asthma attack, which has really scared me (brought back memories of my Covid 19 illness). Just feel a bit alone and in the dark.

If you are having an attack now you need to call 111 or 999.

Hope this helps with ‘what to do when’ and that you’re feeling a little better now
I hope by now that things have calmed down a bit and you are getting the medication you need. It might be a struggle for you at the moment, but you will get better and learn how to manage the condition. The asthmauk site is invaluable, as are their nurses: you can call and speak to a real person who probably understands more about asthma than your GP!
