I’ve been on the above for years and it’s always been a twist right, then twist left action to load. My latest one has a twist left, then twist right action and it has completely thrown me! Is it loading correctly?is it faulty?

Bricanyl Turbohaler
Hi DaftCat, we've had no reports that the device has changed, have you checked and read the Patient Information Leaflet (PIL)for how to use to see if there have been any changes. If there aren't any then it maybe faulty and you should discuss with your pharmacist who supplied it ASAP 👍
Hi, I have various turbohalers, including Bricanyl, and some turn one way first and some the other, like 2 turn twice then click and 1 clicks after the first turn but you still turn it twice...it confused me at first but a respiratory doctor (I was in hospital at the time one was added and it was different) said it didn't matter as long as it was turned twice. I have no idea if this is true but they all seem to work as I can taste them....
Thank you. This one clicks on the first turn left and then you turn it right. Does that sound right to you? I’m trying to recall the other version and I’m doubting myself
Just tried mine as yes it does that. So hopefully we're both ok?!
I hope so!Thank you for doing that. I appreciate it
When I do my others tonight (preventers) I'll try and remember to see what they do. I know one is different but can't remember exactly how...!
I’ve just realised something. My brown inhaler clicks on the second turn. The Bricanyl clicks on the first.
Yep just came to say that's the weird thing with mine! Forgot last night. All 3 turbohalers turn left then right, 2 click after 1 turn but pulmicort clicks at the end. You'd think the mechanisms would be the same but it's always been like that for 2.5 years
I’ve seen the pharmacist and the click is the loading. In her opinion, my inhaler has come out of the factory with one turn already done.
