Asthma Symptoms

Hi everyone,

Is anyone else finding their Asthma symptoms are flaring up just now? Had a tight Chest since Saturday and Ventolin does help but eventually wears off 🙈

This time of year is typically getting colder, it's damp out too which is a common asthma trigger and there were gazillions of fireworks on several nights at the end of the week which, here, meant the air was smoky. If ventolin isn't lasting 4 hours then contact your GP or 111.

Hi,

You shouldn't be needing to use your ventolin reliever that often - sounds like you need to step up your daily medication. Obviously I don't know what your daily medication is but you might need fostair which contains an amount of reliever.

Ive had 3 weeks of tight chest now, finally seeing someone tomorrow about it, dont leave it if you feel concerned. Probably mixture of weather, fireworks and colds lol. Better getting help sooner

My Dear everything will be over for some few weeks later you have taken anti biotic if 2wks still you feel pains then see your GP , Do you cough, do you have shortness of breath or wheezing then it asthma.
