Severe muscular pain in chest

Experienced what felt like my stomach or Heart doing a somersault accompanied by unbearable pain when bending over in shower the night before last. It eased off a little but remained till morning. Little twinges next day, now experienced it once more on turning in bed. Just moved house one week ago wonder if it is a pulled muscle. Also got lots of indigestion. Just registered with new practice and don’t want to call them unnecessarily during current climate.

There's a good chance it's muscular as you say or even intense trapped gas pains (which can be surprisingly strong and you mentioned indigestion), it could also be stress-related. Howevever, please do call your new GP for a phone doc. You describe the pain as both unbearable and severe and that's always worth discussing/not time-wasting at all.

Yup. Gas definitely can cause pain of epic proportions.
