Has anyone tried taking CBD oil for the asthma, obviously alongside their asthma meds. Not instead of. If so did it help and what form did you use? Not talking about stuff with THC. I mean legally available supplements.

Anyone use CBD for asthma?
After some research into what CBD Oil actually is,I personally would not recommend using this product unless prescribed by a medical physician. I believe that in any case that it is not on the current medication which can be prescribed,
Really and truly there is less chance of having adverse effects from CBD oil compared to 99% of meds’ people use right now, the most innocuous of which usually have a laundry list of very scary potential complications.
I used it for a while for reasons other than asthma. No affect whatsoever on my health or asthma.
A recent documentary showed that there are no regulations about the amount of plant within the oil and many products didn't contain the alleged percentage claimed on the label.
I would say, save your money.
Ok, thanks for your thoughts.
There are THC inhalers available in the US but not here unfortunately as THC is actually a bronchodilator. I am not giving medical advice but there are times where I was really ill, unable to get to a doctor and vaping a small amount of THC helped me stop coughing and breathe properly when my reliever inhaler stopped working at all. I have not had much help from my GP at all so have had to figure things out myself. Oddly enough I woke up feeling my allergies really badly, took a Fexofenadine, started wheezing when I wasn’t originally (WTF) and it being 420 and because I feel crappy (sore from coughing so much yesterday) I took some CBD oil. Have ejected some mucus from my lungs and wheezing a bit less now.
However other posters are right that there aren’t that many regulations on these products and a good number of them are a scam. You really have to do a lot of research and read the reviews. Different extraction methods, different carrier oils, different concentrations, different source plant material all make for a really variable product especially if you look on eBay or Amazon. Your best bet is to ask a pharmacist who hopefully knows about this area of medicine and their suppliers as many pharmacies sell this stuff now or go to a CBD dispensary (they do exist in England). There are also some reputable mail order companies if you check their TrustPilot score. I forgot I had some until today as I had stashed it away in case someone inspected my room while I was working and had a problem with it but think I will continue with it all day and report back.
CBD oil is a load of hyped up crap . What is on offer is expensive oil without enough active ingredient in it to have any beneficial effect other than as a placebo. Don't waste your money .
