Doctor won’t prescribe preventer for me

My doctor won’t give me a preventer inhaler to me but i have been coughing at midnight and my studying is really behind. What can I do? I can’t find a different doctor!

It depends what is causing you to cough - if it's a virus , for example , a preventer will not cure it .

Yes I would ask to speak to a doctor. One of the reasons medicines are not repeated is that you need a review of your condition to make sure that you are on the right medicines for you. It sounds like you are talking about your inhaler for short term treatment. If you are needing to take that regularly you may need a longer acting inhaler. See GP or Asthma Nurse at your surgery.

What is amazing is there are so many natural ways to treat this but there seems to be a block in medicine. For 30 years I struggled and all doctors did was prescribe. no root cause analysis.
