I have a conundrum. I am wondering if my asthma has deteriorated slightly. There are no dramas I am glad to say, but walking any version of uphill has become harder over a few months, also during warmer weather, and this autumn and winter it is far harder than last year. I had a cold sometime back in October, again no drama, and a spectacular cough. PF dropped to 70 plus, so no big deal. PF has now improved but not to my old dizzy heights. It sticks stubbornly at plus/minus 85% mark.
So I feel a bit more hampered, but no big deal.
I have a significant history of not noticing/ignoring symptoms, but now I tell myself to pay attention if people around me make comments due to noticing stuff, like my annoying but unspectacular coughing, or my wheezing etc. Do I need to take action. Don’t much want to as I feel I spend too much time in the surgery as it is.

Wheezycat, you have just summed up me in one breath. I’ve dropped just just into my amber zone but it does fluctuate back to 82% max at random. I feel like I’ve been living at my surgery. I really really don’t want to go again and really really don’t want pred. I do have an intermittent phlegmy cough but I wouldn’t say I’m particularly unwell, just not quite right.
Your situation sounds very similar to mine. I’ve finally decided to go to the GP tomorrow after weeks of not feeling quite right - a walk with friends at the weekend where I couldn’t keep up and felt completely exhausted was the final straw. Think I need some steroids to sort it out!
Keeping up with friends - now there’s a blast from the past. I can’t either, unless they really slow down , except perhaps in summer. I don’t think I need prednisolone, but maybe I need to up my medication.......or not.
