Hi there. I hope all is well. Last few weeks my anxiety has been quite bad. I’ve had another episode of a chest infections. My first 1 being last April then one in February and now another 1 in last week. Amoxicillin always treats the infection and last May I had a X-ray and blood tests and all came back clear. I just can’t get my head around why I keep getting them? I do have quite bad hay fever and I’m booked in for a asthma test in the next few weeks. Would anyone have any idea on why I keep getting them?

Chest infections
Sorry to hear this. Unfortunately it’s quite common to get one cold/chest infection after another. Have you tried taking extra vitamins, eg vitC? I also use tea tree and lavender oil to boost my immune system, drink plenty of water and I wash my hands a lot.
Good luck and I hope things improve for you.
Hiya. Hope your well. Yeah so I’ve started taking immunity fruit tea’s and vit d tablets. Hopefully I can start dodging them abit more. I think sometimes the worry and anxiety of getting another one again runs me down! Would you worry about having 3 chest infections in 14 months?
Well, i go through that at least once a year. One cold after another and chest infections, 2 lots of antibiotics and steroids etc. It does get me down, but then again I have long stretches when I’m cold free.
Stress and anxiety can weaken the immune system. Lots of factors involved.
Best thing to do is speak to your GP about it.
Good luck.
