Is it normal to feel jittery

I was diagnosed with Asthma a few years ago in my 40's. I have had it under control since last August & haven't had to use reliever inhaler all winter for the first time up until 2 weeks ago, I have had a a bad cough for past 2 week, over the last couple of days I have felt really unwell with it, went to GP today who said that I have a bad wheeze & asthmatic cough gave me steroid tablets & told me to use reliever inhaler several times a day for a few days which I had been doing. Is it normal to feel shaky/jittery & feel if heart rate is fast it sitting around 100 mark with 94% oxygen levels? Never had this before

It can be normal as you are pumping more steroids in your body. I had this feeling and I was alright after I dropped back to normal dose.

I got it when I had my fostair 100/6 at 3 time's a day. Also when I needed medical assistance to breath better as my meds needed a top up

One word "steroids"

Taking Ventolin will give you the shakes if you take quite a bit in one go. Once the steroids kick in you won't need it.

I try to use my albuterol inhaler (reliever inhaler) no more than twice a day...two puffs each time...it can make you really jittery if used to often or too close together.

Yes. I shake badly when I’ve taken my ventolin. Nebs make me vibrate and shake like a pneumatic drill. I know someone who gets a bad headache and no shakes.

It does wear off. But if it’s a choice of that or fighting to breathe?...
