I know many people either forget or are unaware that spacers are meant to be replaced yearly. I got treated to a nice shiny new one yesterday and it came with this snazzy new logo!
So a reminder to clean them frequently and replace them annually (at least!). When they get to the point where cleaning doesn’t help it’s time for a new one 😉

I got 2 fresh ones not long ago. As I am cleaning one I have a spare one to use. My doctor's agreed to that
I had my spacers X2 got condemned in January by my asthma nurse. I kept one in my handbag and one in my rucksack with a ventolin inhaler each. To be honest I hadn't realised how bad they had gotten as I hardly used them for ages. Which is good of course!
I now have a new spacer (volumatic) but only one. My asthma nurse said I should only carry one with one ventolin inhaler everywhere I go. This is because she has seen alot of people have ventolin inhalers stashed in different places then when they needed them finding them out of date!
I never knew that so thanks for posting it. I do have a spacer device - and the evohalers to use with it - but hardly ever need to use it (last time would have been years ago) as I usually use accuhalers. This may explain why it’s never been suggested that I should have a new one.
Crumbs, have had mine for years and clean periodically though probably should be more regularly. I see the asthma nurse yearly and it’s never been raised. I will certainly look to get a new one! Thanks
