Just want to know if anyone else who has asthma has noticed when they have back pain which worsens on exertion that causes them to bring up phlegm.
Is the back pain made worse by the asthma and the phlegm?
I've had asthma since 19 and at 29/30 and 32 I was involved in car accidents which left me with whiplash/back and neck pain. So have suffered long term chronic pain since (ps I am 48 now) and find it hard to distinguish between normal back pain and back pain caused because of my lungs.
Frequently, when I get back pain I put hot water bottles on back or have hot baths. Am I associating the back pain with the phlegm or is it the hot water bottle and hot baths that are the cause of the phlegm coming up?
I am recovered from infection started 5/12/18 but trying to get on and do normal pace and still getting tired/weak and achey and still bringing up phlegm with blood streaks in.
Anyone know the answers or experience the same so I know I am not nuts and it is normal.
Anyone else had long recovery from infections and wondered when will I feel normal again?
