I had my fostair reduced from 2 puff's morning and night to 1. If the doctors or a nurse does that it must mean that your asthma is stable

The Asthma Uk web site has useful information on the Step up and Step Down process, which you might like to take a look at. It includes the signals for increasing or decreasing medication. Their website has a lot of useful information.

My husband successfully weaned off his inhaler. He has never been hospitalized for asthma. He has only been on oral steroids for asthma once or twice in his life. He went a year without needing his rescue Inhaler before he started to wean. His peak flows are stable.

That is something I did not know about asthma, I understand that asthma can affect people in different ways and well done to your husband

His was mild. More of an issue when younger. He outgrew it, as some say. I'm severe persistent. And will always be on some sort of controller.
