I know this page is for people who have asthma. I myself don’t have asthma. I did have a dream of having a asthma attack in my dream I couldn’t breathe I was wheezing all crazy I tried my inhaler in my dream but it didn’t work. I ended up waking up not being able to breathe and wheezing a little. By any chance does anyone know what that means?

Since you still had breathlessness when you woke up, perhaps you should be alert and see if it happens again, either awake.or asleep, and see your GP if you find you do get breathless and wheeze at times? Maybe have a look at the Asthma UK website to learn more about asthma and see if anything rings a bell with you (e.g. something you've dismissed before?) Do you have family/friends with asthma or know much about it currently?
It may of course be nothing and you may not have asthma, but it's worth keeping an eye on given asthma in people who do have it is often more of an issue at night.
As a confirmed asthmatic I have dreams where I have asthma and this happens when I really do have asthma symptoms and my brain is trying to make sense of them by working them into a dream - I don't necessarily wake up straight away if this happens. Again not saying this is what's going on with you but it can happen (and with me definitely isn't just anxiety or anything - I don't find asthma symptoms make me anxious plus the dream is a response to the symptoms).
I hope this helps.
