Hi - I have the community nurses come vist ( usually after a hospital stay). They are excellent - they really talk to you and listen. They check you over and they can prescribe more Meds. They also advise if you need to go back to the GP or not. When I've come out of hospital they visit routinely but when I'm not so ill I also have my nurses number and I can ring to ask anything at all.

Thank you for that..I do need to be able to talk this has actually traumatised me. Never had to be admitted to hospital before. I am glad they check you over as nearly finished antibiotics and not sure if chest clear..but I do feel somewhat better for resting..

Yes being in being in hospital unexpectedly can be leave you feeling really odd. I had urgent, unexpected surgery in June and it took me several weeks to feel that I was 'back in the normal world'. It helps to talk it over with someone.

I don’t know anything about the home visits, Emily, I’m sorry. I just wanted to say glad you’re home and hope they can help you some more. These asthma exacerbations are so frightening and exhausting. Take care xx
