Spirometry results...?

So; turns out it wasn’t anxiety. I do have abnormal results. If you can read this; am I mild, moderate, or severe in my impairment?

Hi you would do much better to post this in the British Lung Foundation site as this one is only for asthma. BLF is for all lung diseases with copd the most common. x

On a scale of 1 - 10 how worried should I be? I got more tests coming.

I wouldn’t worry as that’ll only make things worse, do they think it’s asthma or copd?

They want to do a full lung function test before moving to a diagnosis. The paper I got says “COPD Risk: Moderate” but he didn’t diagnose. It’s something the machine spits out.

If it is copd then moderate is good as they’ve caught it and try treatments before it gets worse. Without the other test results I can’t advise much more than that I’m afraid.

I’ll let ya know the results. I am 32 and never smoked. That’s a side note.

Well; he said my PLF didn't show signs of Asthma or COPD, but he said Restrictive Airway and that my lungs constrict as a response to a trigger. I guess I get enough air in and out.

Not what you're looking for?
