Cough variant asthma is falls under bronchial asthma or not....?

Coughing is my main symptom, but it is always just called asthma, all asthma is bronchial. Some people wheeze, some people don’t. I apparently do wheeze, but it’s very high pitched and I can’t hear it, but my consultant can. He says it’s always there. But often my GP can’t.

Don’t get too hung up on the labels. Many people have very different symptoms. Some people can be having a pretty major attack but their peak flow will hardly drop at all. Others will cough but not wheeze. Asthma is a pretty broad term for reversible inflammation of the lungs caused by a variety of different triggers.
