Main symptoms
There's no absolute hard & fast rule here as we all experience it differently, and with greater levels of severity. It is a disease of the airways, so symptoms are likely to include shortness of breath, wheezing (although many asthmatics present with no wheeze), coughing, etc. It can last a day or two, perhaps less, or be a permanent fixture of your life.
What might help better is if you want to post what it is you are experiencing, & any medical advice/medication you have been given & people can perhaps help you more accurately.
OK well basically I get a very very blocked nose, a tight chest and itchy round the chin and nose area this can last for up to a week
Interesting. Sounds like an allergic reaction to something. I assume its not the same effects as when you get a cold?
Can you identify what has happened just before you get the itchiness around the facial area? You might be able to find out what one of your triggers are.
I agree with Elizabeth, it does very much sound like an allergic reaction (which of course asthma often is). There are what I call 'usual suspect' triggers - do you have pets/does anyone around you smoke or vape/is your home damp or dusty/do you work with any sort of chemical or pollutant?
There are other common household triggers as well. If nothing obvious hits you, it might be worth asking for allergy tests at the GPs.
Good luck.
It started 2 years ago when. I overused a nasal spray I have had problems with my nose ever since
