Anyone on here had this one, keeps recurring since June 2017. Strangely this bout is not making me as wheezy just mucky green sputum, and feeling bit off. Did have pneumonia with sepsis in February 2017, had Asthma for 67years now mixed airways.

Moraxella Catarrhalis
I have never heard of this one before but I have had pneumonia with sepsis a few times now, the last one in November 2017. I usually am sputum free for about a month then the nasty stuff comes back. My consultant says at the first sign of it get down for a checkup at the doctors, which I did do yesterday and I am now back on antibiotics. The consultant is looking at changing medications as some can cause infections to thrive and three of my meds do that. I have been on steroids an awful long time which in its self is a problem. I was diagnosed with Asthma in 1948, when I was 4. I bet we could tell a tale or two about the way treatment changed over the years. All the best for the New Year.
Bet we could tell some tales of no medication only cough medicine and horrid steam inhalations then a foul tablet that you put under your tongue, my dad was always slapping my legs for spitting it out. Will be going back consultant this month, I seem to have become quite frail from being an active person it's doing my head in. I first had steroids in 1963 and I tend to avoid taking them but maybe would boost me up a bit. Thanks for replying.
