I think that for the time being you will just have to follow the advice you've been given. There is a lot more advice on the AthmaUK website. However, if they do admit you, you should get care which is more focussed on you as an individual, and perhaps you need a rest. Follow all the usual advice about scarf in cold weather, a well aired house and so on, and you've coped fine with asthma all these years, so you can get over this blip and be fine again. It's a nasty episode, but I'm sure you will recover if you look after yourself.
Good luck!
Thank you so much I am just coping the best way I can I been put back on steroids then if I am no better I will try to get doctors appointment as I have been like this for 3 weeks know and I don’t feel like I am getting any better the medication has even made me to start shaking which I am not happy about
I feel your pain. I got diagnosed in October with chostochrinditis, and since then my asthma has been flaring up. This is the 3rd time in 4 weeks I’ve had steroids. This time I am on steroids for 3 weeks. Was taken into a&e on Sunday. This is the first time I’ve ever been really bad with it.
