please help dont have a clue what all this means consultant recomends seebre or tiotropium respimat inhaler what are these used for

FEV-1 is forced expiry volume (the amount you can breath out) in 1 second.

FEV1/FVC is a ratio calculation used to help diagnose lung problems (I think that it measures the proportion of your 1-second of breath against the total you can breath out, but I'm not 100% sure on that).

TLC is total lung capacity

RV is respiratory volume - again not 100% sure, but I think the total volume you can breathe out.

DLCO & KCO are something to do with the efficiency of your lungs, but I got that from Google & have no real idea what they measure!

The FEV-1 figure looks low as they are saying yours is 79% of a healthy adult of your age, size & gender. However, overall I would say that you probably need to talk to someone medically qualified to explain what they mean holistically.

The tiotropium inhaler is more commonly known as Spiriva. I use it, but I use it as well as another inhaler (plus reliever). I believe that it's normally used as an additional long-term bronchodilator (for keeping airways open) as well as other inhalers.
