Peak flow good or bad
The guidelines judge by age, gender & height, so assuming you're roughly average height, then that would seem to be a little on the low side. It sounds like it would be worth giving your GP a shout &/or implementing your action plan if you have one.
Do you know what your peak flow is normally. That will help you know how bad it is now.
For instance my best peak flow is 500 and when I drop to about 350 I get exercise intolerance, cough and wheeze then if I drop to 250/300 I know that I just start steroids.
So it depends ! I’d suggest you should see the gp and also the asthma numbers to help you with an asthma plan
My peak flow has ALWAYS been low - rarely exceeding 300 - yet I can still "hold my breath" far longer than most untrained people...
However, that is me (and I know i'm wierd ) so you should certainly see your GP for advice.

Thank you 😀
Hi my peak flow has never been higher than 150 for years. My asthma nurse says I don't use the correct technique. Having said that in January I was put on Relvar 184/22 and I am so very much improved but my peak flow is just the same. I have had asthma for 60 years and I am virtually the same as I was then just a little puffier (old age). I never go by my peak flow there is no point. My consultant thought I may have COPD but I don't. What I do suffer from badly is anxiety and panic which has much to to do with my asthma
