Dust and can't sleep

Evening. Anyone else awake. Struggling more this evening. Have severe asthma and was teaching outside this afternoon. Not sure if I'm struggling more due to this or I had my flu jab on Saturday not felt 100% since. Think mix of a dodgy chest and steroids keeping me awake. 😢

Hey,

Sorry to hear you are unwell. And yes, steroids can be quite nasty with keeping you awake, which is why you should take them in the morning if you can.

I am currently struggling with a nasty chest infection, and my cough won't really let me sleep, hopefully this will be over soon 😅 (meanwhile, the meds just keep piling up on my desk...looks almost like a pharmacy)

Damn dust. Had a good day with less sweating and breathing better. Had awful sleep on Sunday night but have slept through last night. Been on oral steroids a few weeks now -am down to 30mg a day now (for 3rd time.) They make reflux ,throat and bloating worse but it's a delicate balance.

Hope today is a low day for fungal spores and that I have more energy. Hope it's a good day for you.

Good morning Jennzie, so sorry to hear that you're not doing very well at the moment. So much dust and debris in the air. Teaching al fresco does have its advances, but I used find that my chest got tigher as evening approached and I had to resort to inhalers! As for steroids and insomnia, try to take steroids as early as you can.

All the best and hope you feel very soon.
