Dupilumab Anyone?

Anyone using Dupilumab or know if it's licences for U.K. use? Like to hear of your experiences with this treatment.

Apparently it can be used for both asthma and dermatitis but a recent positive side-effect noticed by some USA Clinicians was that it significantly restored loss of sense of smell and appears to achieve this benefit for a long period of time, not just a week or two.

As many Asthmatics (especially Eosinophilic Asthmatics) have Sinus and Nasal Polyp issues too (which add to their breathing problems or even cause them) it might be the case that Dupilumab could be an appropriate treatment option for those who's asthma phenotype is a good match.

Thanks in advance to anyone who contributes to this Thread.

Thanks for that.

As the article you've linked to is 'light' on references to asthma, in order to preempt any queries along the lines of - 'great but what's this got to do with asthma'? - below is a note taken from Wikipedia. (I've also seen a couple of other references to Asthma in relation to this drug).

In 2013, mid-stage data was presented at the American Thoracic Society meeting and published in the NEJM demonstrating an 87% (placebo: 67%) reduction in asthma exacerbations in patients with moderate-to-severe allergic asthma.[9]
