Hi everyone, I'm a newbie to the site and just wanted to say hello!
I have had a persistent cough and vomiting mucus for over three years now. I have been for x-rays, spirometry tests x2 etc. I have tried the brown inhaler (sorry I forgot the name of it) and also Symbicort but neither has helped me. I have been told by the Dr its Asthma related but no firm diagnosis. I have been waiting for a follow up appointment for nearly a year now! Having read some of the posts I can identify with a lot of the symptoms others are suffering. It's nice to know there are others out there to ask for advice. π

Welcome! I know how you feel. I went through a period of vomiting when my cough was bad. I still vomit at random times and it's a annoying, especially when I am walking the kids to school! I've had asthma all my life though so I already know what is causing my health issues (asthma, chronic rhinitis and hay fever/dust allergies). I also have bad reflux which probably contributed to the vomiting. I'm not sure it is the same in your case, but it is something worth looking into. Asthma and Gastro-Reflux (GORD) go hand in hand. I hope you get seen by a specialist soon. It is hard to see them, even if you already have asthma! Hopefully you get sorted soon. Best wishes. Emily
