Hello,

I have been diagnosed with asthma since November 16 after many years of struggling and collapsing in the street, I have been told it is under control but I am struggling for breath frequently and in constant pain within the ribs, back and chest area.

Just seen this site and thought i would say hello

JB

Hi begbie welcome to this very friendly helpful site

Hi Begbie welcome to the site all hear to help if we can 👌

Hi nice to meet you. You know how you feel and I don't see how they can say it's under control when you are suffering constant pain like this. I would go back to the doctors asap and ask them to investigate.

Clearly it is not co trolled if you feel like this. Go back to GP or Asthma nurse . If told it is under control ASK why they think you feel as you do and what can you/they try to do about it?

Hope this helps. I have learnt over 57 years of asthma to be politely insistent !

Thank you sometimes it feels like the doctors just want a conclusion, I am quite shy and do not like to trouble people. However I will try to be persistent and I will ask the questions sometimes it needs others to give you strength.
