Prednisolone and painkillers?

I've been put on pred and amoxicillin this weekend for a flare up caused by a chest infection. What painkillers is it ok to take? I've normally no problems with ibuprofen or paracetamol.

Both Ibuprofen and paracetamol are fine with Prednisolone, or at least I've never had any problems with them. Of course lots of people with Asthma have a problem with Ibuprofen & Asprin.

Thanks risabel59 - fingers crossed, I still feel rubbish but the wheeze has gone so I guess that's a good start.

Some people do have negative reaction to ibuprofen, but itvis not general, just beware

Hope you feel better soon. I've got a chest infection and am on antibiotics and prednisone too. I'm okay with Ibruphen but avoid if sensitive to it but paracetamol is safe x
