😕. Defo not the best of locations but hopefully this one will stay (legs do like to get caught/tangled so much more than arms!!!). Think positive and hopefully not too long til you get the PICC in and secured xxx

Oh 'eck, that looks awkward. Never had one there before and never in my feet, though was threatened once. I do hope the lock down ends soon for you.

Yea very sore and uncomfortable they said this is a last result place I have rain out of veins if this one goes before the pick line goes in going in my feet

Have you had any in your feet before? Just the thought makes me cringe, though veins in my feet look juicier than the ones in my arm. Keep drinking that lukewarm water.

There is a cream that is used on children, which makes the veins more visible. I think it is about time they used it in adults too. Sorry, forgotten the name.

Maybe good job going to you feet. It will be an experience for you, and us for if/when we need one in our feet too.

We will be there in thought to hold your hand, and whisper silly jokes into your ear to distract you.

Hope you're doing better today, that the cannula stayed in and that you managed to get at least some sleep! Fingers crossed for you to get what you need today x

Exactly and I guess all you can do is keep remember that all the wires and tubes and stuff is important and very helpful. Thats why I like watching 24 hours in a&e. If you every are there as a major treatment treatment patient etc you know they know what they are doing. x
