I am inclined to say that if you are having to ask if you have either asthma or hay fever , then you don't have them . The symptoms of both are quite distinct and you will be in no doubt about it if you are suffering .
With asthma the airways in the lungs become restricted and you will have difficulty breathing .
Hay fever is an intense irritation of the eyes , nose and throat caused by pollen .
I think you need to take the guesswork out of all this and get yourself a hospital appointment to do a proper lung function and allergy test (I got all mine done in one visit). Whilst you're waiting for the appointment, keep taking the medication if you can and try an antihistamine for the hayfever (take it at night to reduce the tiredness during the day). If it IS hayfever, then you'll notice the difference the next day; if not, then treat it as a cold. There is a high tree pollen count at the moment and that might make any asthma worse even if, like me, you're not actually allergic to it - my hayfever comes later in the grass pollen season. See how you get on.
