Hi all, I had an asthma attack a week ago and ended up getting put on a nebuliser, then sent home a few hours later with 5 days of 40mg pred. I've finished the steroids and my peak flow is still shooting up and down between 65% and 80%, still very phlegmy, and lungs feel heavy with some sharp pains.

woyld a few more days rest be the way to go, or should I get checked out again by the GP (my asthma nurse is on leave 🙁) Any advice would be great. X

Unless you think that you getting a little better every day , I think as you are still having all these symptoms you should go back to the doctor.
