So sorry to hear at having such a tough time, whenever I have my appointment with my asthma nurse I write down all my problems with asthma so I don't forget anything. If you don't have an meter that registers your readings ask for one and that I'll enable you to keep track of how you are doing. You also need a spacer which will help to keep the dreaded thrush away good luck π
Sorry you have had such a rough time. The nurse should give you a proper check up, a peakflow meter, an aerochamber and prescribe you a preventer as well as a reliever. Take care xx
Don't panic. You may find your asthma easy to control and it may not trouble you much. If you get flare-ups from time to time, you'll learn how to deal with them. Your asthma nurse will have all the help and advice you need. Write things down if you think you might forget and remember asthma.org.uk has lots of relevant advice. Your aim is that you control the asthma, you don't let it control you.
Please make sure it is asthma as this happened to me i have vcd is it from your throat or yr chest
