Asthma and LPR?

Hi

I have pretty chronic asthma and have frequent bouts of laryngitis and have recently been diagnoised with LPR. Please could you let me know if anyone has been diagnoised with this? If you have how has this modified your treatment plan of asthma?

Oh thank you, x

Hi Weezer is LPR like GORD? ..Do you take Omeprazole against acidity?..

in reply to

Hi

Yes that's what I was started on. I'm hoping I can come off it.

in reply to

Ok I take omeprazole 20mg and I don't think I will get off it..It protects from the steroids side effects and antibiotics we have to take..when I am on steroids I actually have to increase to 40mg..I was told good gut bacteria help so I eat live yoghurt, I have organic porridge oats in the morning with boiling water and honey, and stewed apples. It has helped a lot actually but requires discipline..
