Add on treatment

Hi all went to see my asthma nurse today (routine monthly check up after starting on new inhaler fostair 200/6 ) unfortunately had a bad month when first starting fostair caught a virus and a big trigger for me time of the month so ended up on steroids I'm on Day 5of 7 and I feel great. So she wants me to try fostair for another 6 weeks to see how things go because at the moment I stop taking steroids and a few weeks later I'm back on them. If it doesn't help she will add on treatment at the moment I take montelukast can anyone tell me what other treatments there are, I'm hoping I don't need them . Thanks all xx

There are lots of options and I would not want to start 2nd guessing your care team. However be assured there is other things in the arsenal.
