Well following a rubbish weekend I'm now back on pred again ( last course was Christmas) just can't seem to get control of things 🙄

Very sorry to hear you're struggling. I know how depressing it can all be. Just wondering if tapering your pred might work. In past winters, once I start on pred, it seemed to be a series of exacerbations. After a while I noticed after finishing my 7 day course, I began to feel fluey, shivery, headachey for 3/4 days. GP suggested tapering, which I'd never been asked to do before, and put pred on my repeat prescription. Because I couldn't remember taper he suggested, I went very slowly down after 7 days, from six tabs to five, to four etc. When got down to two, did two days then stopped. That was Christmas Day and fingers crossed, all ok since. Just a thought.....and it might be back yet! But perhaps you're tapering anyway. Good luck.

Thanks Breathezee I've only been on tappered down steroids once and I must admit I was fine for months going on 7 day course and I'm back to square one after a few weeks
