I get the peak flow part which matches my manual device's numbers fairly closely, but I also get something called an FEV1 rating which is about 5.45 - 5.59 on average. I tried searching Google about it but it's all Greek to me xD Can anyone interpret please?

Hi Fev1 is your lung function and as far as I'm aware not used for asthmatics? I am sure someone will tell me if I am wrong.
I have copd as well as asthma and have a spirometry test every year which involves blowing into tubes. The FEV1 figure is a measure of how much you can blow out in 1 second. The reading then gives your lung function. Mine is around mid 70's. I only know the percentage figures not the decimal ones but I think yours is good. I will have a search to see if I can find a conversion table. I hope it is a bit clearer now. x
Forced vital capacity. I think that it is just another name for lung function capacity .
Another interpretation of Pulmonary spirometry .
