Since I had my asthma attack on wednesday which started with coughing then uncontrollable shaking for 20mins then gradually get worse of breathing and the soreness coming

On after that. Since then i go hot and sweaty randomly. Lasts more than few minutes.

Saw this symptom of fever/temperature raise somewhere else.

Thoughts?! Tomorrow will be the first day without steriods. Percautionly appointment made at GP for thursday pm. Pressuming self life of prensilone is a day. Thursday will be the test..

Hot & sweaty may depend on your age & gender, but if neither applies, remember that wheezing is very hard work. Your GP will advise and probably comfort you that it is nothing serious.

I don't think it's serious just wondering if anyone else has had this happen. Female late 4 0's but on the pill.

Hi I get these symptoms whenever I am on pred. I had an attack last week and have been on pred for 7 days and feeling pretty grim, as you describe above. I've always put it down to pred side effects, or the virus that caused the asthma.

This is only the second time on prenisolone. I know it gives me sleep distrubtion, high sugar, mood swings but not this. day 7 yesterday so I have stopped.Hoping for a better nights sleep soon. Now got a cold and my chest is getting sore again. Made myself a GP appointment for tomorrow. 3 days ago as a precaution looks like a very wise decision. Not keen on more prenisolone but need to be sensible and need to not have any more 111 phone calls . Very clued up on me my body and asthma. This being only the second/third one I have had. I have my famiy my church family, you all in my corner and God. Thanks for the kind wishes
