Yes I do.

One of my worst triggers is cigarettes and the e-cigarettes are just as bad so I am guessing that the nicotine may be the root cause. I have banned all smoking from home for many years now and tend to forget what a problem nicotine in general is. Nothing like going round to visit someone and winding up sitting outside wheezing due to their smoking :(

I too have no smoking at home but it's when I go out socially and lots of people use them that I suffer 😒

Yes, absolutely...I think, sadly, many smokers really don't have the slightest conception of the fact that some people have lung problems & the onset of vaping has made that worse. They think they can blow their fumes around even more now because it's "safe".

However like you I find them, maybe not as bad but bad enough, not least because the fumes are heavily perfumed. I really hope that sooner rather than later the law equalises them with ordinary fags.

Only 2 of my friends use e cigarettes but alway go outside to use them it's other people. I am going to a masquerade ball next Saturday so I'm hoping not many people there use them and if so go outside 🙏

I've noticed that they are generally allowed in loads of pubs, football grounds, etc. A definite retrogade step I think.

100%. A colleague at work used one, even the 'residual' smell after he'd been outside to vape and then returned, used to send me intone coughing fit. I'm not certain it is the nicotine, but more something else they use in the 'flavourings'.

Wwll, if you can't beat 'em......I have always wondered if one could "vape" using ventolin or terbuline neb solution?

Ask your Chest Con....

Vapolin sounds good.......Would be handy when people are vaping .

And yes......vaping does affect my chest. People generally don't believe me!

I too find they trigger my asthma. Not as bad but still affects. Smoking is not allowed in my home. Even some one close proximity after smoking is enough to start me coughing. Love the humour.

Yes, people using those near me set me off. It is a pain as people think I'm making it up because they are "safe". I'd like to see them under the same rules as normal cigarettes.

Yes and it can be a far more immediate and violent attack than cigarettes trigger
