Had a nice Christmas with my mum who came to stay for a week. Had not really gone out much during her visit as her sciatica makes walking difficult but we did manage a trip to the Shard with my daughter and as it was a mild day I did not need a scarf. Drove my mum to the coach station yesterday for her journey home and waited with her for the coach for about 20 mins. Very windy day but again no scarf. When I got back to my car the coughing started. Had a rough afternoon and night and probably now staying in to celebrate new year. People please don't do what I did. Wrap up well and wishing everyone a happy new year.
