Being allergic to your own eczema cream.

Way to go, immune system!

Anyone else have a problem with Dermol?

My dd has same problem. She can use an emollient for about 12 months then she will not let me put it on as it stings and make her eczema worse. She is currently using dermol. So far no problems but only had it a month.

I've had massive problems in the past with eczema. In fact I used to say at one time if I could rid myself of any one of the classic asthma-eczema-hayfever triumverate I'd go for eczema. There have been days I would have happily signed up for a finger amputation!!

Oddly (or perhaps not) since my lung problems deteriorated & with a totally knew medication regime my eczema has (for the time being anyway) vanished.

In answer to your question though I've not had allergy problems but there are quite a few different creams out there so maybe just a bit of trial & error?
