Firework fumes
Yes definitely . I dread this time of year since I have had asthma . Its even worse now it's spread out for days and days ! Wish I could suggest something other than stay in and keep the windows closed. Take care.
Yeah I find it grips me more this time of the year. The fumes are unbelievable aren't they. I'm using everything but still gets u doesn't it.
Hi Shezxx I agree with Rayswife we can do without the fireworks the fog we keep getting is bad enough. Why people have to set off fireworks on Halloween Christmas New Year and their ✖✖✖ birthdays as well beats me it just used to be bonfire night ah well we will just have to keep ourselves safe
I never knew that. No wonder It sets me off then petrol stations. Just wondered as the cold air and fumes really set you back. Dread bonfire night next day always bad. Thanks for all your replies everyone. X really helps
Yes the fumes definitely affect me also, this year it seems even worse because I've got a chest infection.
I hate this time of year. The smoke, the fog all topped up with a phobia of fireworks!! But 100% yes it will all affect you.
And while I'm grumpy when did Mischief Night get swapped for Halloween? Instead of tying a dustbin lid to the door of the old bugger that wouldn't let you get your football back or egging his window we have to have a fancy dress parade. Bloody Americans.
Seems more fireworks for halloween this year than ever. Bonfire night worse but wondered how ppl cope. It's kinda hard to stay indoors if u have to go outside to go about ur everyday life isn't it. Hate bonfire night cos of the fumes. Ur not grumpy it's just frustrating for sufferers. We can try to help each other.
Personally I stay inside with all windows closed as soon as it starts to get dark. I actually find the morning of the 6th is probably the worst with all the lingering smoke in the air and as others have said the dragging out for days is awful.
If I have to go out I try to travel by car with the blowers off if I can smell smoke. But it is incredibly pervasive and hard to avoid completely.
Always flare up around bonfire day. 😔
