Hayfever treatment .

As like a lot of people I suffer from hayfever that of course can make asthma worse , the over the counter treatments actually send me loopy , im either snapping at everyone or in floods of tears ..so unlike me . here is my question I have a nasel spray Avamys 21.5 ...can I use this without needing the hayfever allergy relief you buy at the chemist as in will it give me the same protection ..thanks in advance .

What over the counter Anti-Histamines have you tried? I have bad hayfever and tried pretty much all the one a day meds but my doctor put me on Acravastine - Benadryl - I have to take up to three tablets a day but they were a massive turning point for hayfever management for me.

I take avamys as well but without the acravastine I still get itchy eyes, ears and throat.

Thanks James for your reply , the ones I got were Hayleve , piriton etc , must be just me but really made me like a mad woman ...either that or I am A mad woman ..I will discuss with the doctor next visit , my main symptom with the hayfever is I have completely lost my sense of smell ...and runny eyes , suppose could live with that if it dosent make my asthma any worse for im fast running out of friends because got so irritable taking the meds for hay fever
