not liking methotrexate!

sooo... ive now been on methotrexate for a few weeks, and its fair to say im hating every second of it..from the first night i took it, it wipes me out for a good few days, i feel weak, dizzy, tired and sick.. ive also noticed my hair is getting thin and a lot more in the shower than normal.. all this after only a few weeks!

next step is bronchial thermoplasty...other than that theres 2 trials for new drugs coming up, but to be honest im fed up of trying new drugs for it, i seem to have reactions to whatever they try!!

so im going to research the thermoplasty and see whats what as ive been told by a few people, including the clinic nurse, that in a lot of cases it just doesnt work!

Sorry to hear youre struggling. Ive also been on methatrexate fr a month now and have all the horrible side effects. So just to say i sympathise. I wasnt aware myself that bronchial thermoplasty was a bit of a gamble. Interested to know what you decide.
