Hi all l am new to tbis forum

Im running a half marathon in April and am trying to get my level of fitness higher! Im really struggling to run without getting out off breath and using my inhaler which is really getting me down as l feel like lm failing before ive even attempted the run :/ Does anyone please have any tips on exercise and keeping your asthma at the right level??!!

Hi and well done for taking on the half!

Take a look at a topic further down this forum called ""tips for cold weather running""

Mainly I would say take your reliever 10-15 mins before you start. Always warm up and warm down. Also if cold air is a trigger try wearimg a scarf or muffler over your mouth and nose to warm the air slightly before you breathe it in ;-)
