My asthma has beeen quite bad the last few weeks. on my monday night i was really struggling so i went to the doctors and was very whezzy and no voice. luckly no infection just a virus - Laryngitis so just carry on with the 10 puffs of ventolin every 4 hours. my voice has come back thankfully but im still wheezy and my every now and again my lips keep going blue. never had my lips go blue before so is it serious ?? or just part of the virus.
Blue lips usually means your oxygen saturation is down and would normally need a visit to a&e.
Do your fingertips go blue too? This is another sign.

Yes blue lips is, as Angelica says, usually a lack of oxygen is blood and yes is serious. You should get yourself to A&E when this happens. If it doesn't happen before tomorrow then go to your GP and tell them about what's been happening. I hope you improve soon. x
