funny / emarrassing - can't decide which

I've got a cold at the moment so my breathing isn't as good as it should be. I was teaching Gareth yesterday (an adult piano pupil) and at one point he said to me ""you're huffing and puffing a lot, is my playing really that bad?"" I *think* he was joking but i did say im not well and didn't realise i was doing it - oops

lol! If it had been a kid you could have said lack of practice makes you breathe badly, to encourage them... ;)

I was once playing the cello (not even the oboe!) at a recording session, just a couple of people in a quiet theatre, and the sound guy said 'I'm getting your breathing really loudly through this mike' - which was positioned somewhere round my knees! Kind of embarrassing, wasn't sure if that happens with everyone as I hadn't thought I was particularly bad at the time...
