I have just returned from Cornwall and yet again my breathing was so much better when I was there. This happens every time I am there or anywhere by the sea does this happen to anyone else? Also does anyone know why this happens

Seaside
Slightly stronger wind speeds on the coast, therefore pollen and pollution levels are not quite so high because they are both dispersed more quickly.
I've had this too - high humidity and the sort of weather that normally bothers me: did really bother me in the city but though I'm sure it must have been just as humid wasn't nearly as bad by the sea! Actually the pollution thing makes sense as the city was Boston which is by the sea anyway; the other place was Woods Hole which is a small town/village right on the sea.
yes, UK sea air definitely reduced asthmatic symptoms.
I love going to the sea side, I always feel heaps better!
I might just have to go to the seaside for a daytrip soon, even if it will be tiddling down. I miss the sea, it's sounds and freshness, it's calming properties, and its smells.
The rain wouldn't stop me eating a 99 either!
