I do get stitch type feeling in my chest, although I put it down to more of a 'twist', does it go away if you stretch?

nope , it actually gets worse when i move too much, i'm thinking it could be a pulled muscle from coughing

stitch in chest

I was in Birmingham yesterday and O xford today, I have had the feeling that you mention.

I also had some last week, I found the same thing but I also found that relaxing got rid of the feeling in all instances.

I would not feel inclined to do exercise its not like running through a stitch to remove it.

However I am not a medical person, so take this as an observation only...Good Luck.
