Constant tight chest

Hi everyone

I've had a tight chest now for well over a week now. It's right in the centre of my chest and feels like someone is pressing down hard on me.it is making me a little short of breath but I have no wheeze and not much of a cough. Ventolin works for a short time but then it just comes back again.

Anyone else experienced this?

what are you triggers ?

you been checking you pf ? any change ? how often and how much ventolin taking ? how long is the ventolin working for ?

i had that few times but normally on exertion, and ventolin works.

if it persist, or gets worse thats a sign control not being quite right , so meds may need tweeking.

i had it and got help within 24 hours. I was having an attack. It sounds like how i was nearly 2 weeks ago. I think you need to get it checked out

Hi Smithy,

Ive had similar feeling, normally if ive overdone it a bit.

I noticed one particular activity triggered it more than anything else.

Gardening

Now, i have a few puffs on blue before i begin working in the garden & realise i need to pace myself more.

I think you might be better seeing doc or your asthma nurse though.

If youre feeling like this for a week at a time, its better playing it safe.
