Luna Eclipse

Just a quick reminder that there is a luna eclipse going on. I can look out of patio window and watch it. The bottom of moon has gone so far at 10.44 it reaches totality. It is visible all over the UK.

Should be Umbra-fab,its even clear up here in Cumbria-lightning and hailstones a few hours ago!!!

Clear as bell here in Devon and pretty chilly thankfully I have windows facing the right way :)

Bex

Thanks for the reminder Bex - had forgotten about this ;-)

Would have been very disappointed to have missed this as our youngest one had asked this afternoon to stay up late to see the eclipse. Not a cloud in the sky here in Brave Heart Country.

Take hair,

Derek

Absolutly beautiful. Now I know where the line ""oh when the moon turn into blood"" from ""O when the saints go marching in"" comes from, moff to be so won't see it come out of totality at 11.58. If you have not poked your head out side yet it is well worth doing so. Look to the south for a dark orange ball :)

Clear as a bell up here too. And my fingers now a bit immobile from cold, I've been snapping for so long.... :D Beautiful, hope I've got some decent pics.
