I have a pari.

I also have a portaneb. I'd say the pari was a bit faster than the portaneb and alot easier to carry and takes up less space!

grrr shouldnt be a space between O and Y in that link

i like the portaneb...recently bought an omron one but not as good as the trusty portaneb!!!

hi marmite

I agree with everyone on evergreen they really cannot be beaten in terms of service and usually advice you on the best neb for your own individual needs!

I bought a bog standard actineb from them its one of the cheapest compressors out there not portable at all but in terms of a good work horse its fabulous. It nebs quickly (noisy but quick!) and has a low residual med at the end of nebulisation. Think its around 50quid so its great value. If your after a good reliable work horse and dont need to travel anywhere with it id recommend this one.

If you want a compressor that is a bit more portable i also have an omron compair elite which is also great. Costs around 80-90quid and again is a good work horse tho when i spoke to the guy at evergreen he did say it wont be as good as my actineb as its not as powerful a nebuliser. It does however have the portability i needed and as i already had an omron micro air i did like the omron make they're very reliable!

Let us know what you do go for in the end but as i said try calling evergreen as the chap there is really great and really helps with getting you the best neb for your own individual needs as if you neb antibiotics you will prob not find the actineb so good but it is very similar to the work horses they use at my local hospital so that was enough for me to decide it was a good reliable neb as the nhs wouldnt have lots of them if they were not as reliable and sturdy as they are, etc.

Good luck with it and hope you get on ok.
