I have got to go for a brain scan tomorrow ( friday)
My asthma isnt to good at the moment and constant coughing fits.
will take reliever before I go and hope dont have to keep pulling me out with coughing and wont help
being flat on my back.
Any tips welcome ! x
Yuck - is it an MRI scan? They're bad at the best of times, even when you're feeling well.
Talk to a GP/nurse first, but you might find something to suppress the cough useful as a temporary measure. I'm struggling with the coughing at the moment and it's really interfering with my sleep so I've been given a codeine based tablet (it's stronger than normal codeine apparently???) that I take before bed, and it acts as a relaxant and so reduces the cough so I can get some sleep - really seems to work well for me.
Hi Ratty.Yes is a MRI scan and will have a cage thing on my head also.Just hope get it done with no coughing xxx

Braver than me!! I lasted about a minute in a CT scanner before i started screaming to get out....worst experience of my life!
oh good luck pet....i had one and apart from thinking my boobs were gunna frazzle after being told by them that i shouldnt touch the sides or top (but my chest did lol). its very claustrophobic and im not good in them but lots of deep breaths and keep tight hold of the buzzer and youl be good x
